FAQs
-
Do we have to be Christians to attend TCWA?
No, you do not have to be a Christian to apply to and attend TCWA. We are unashamedly a school dedicated to teaching students how to worship through the arts, yet we do not require families to have the same beliefs at home. Families are encouraged to support their student in honoring the school culture while at school.

-
Will I have to pay for tuition?
For the 2025-2026 year tuition will be due. The cost is $7850 per student. We are in the midst of gaining our accreditation with the American Montessori Society which will allow us to use the Educational Savings Allowance to make tuition fully covered and free for parents. We hope to move from being an accreditation candidate (a 3 year long process) to being fully accredited by 2026.

Are there additional fees to be in the school?
There are 2-3 additional fees.
An $80 application fee covers the application and family interview time for our administrative staff to accept students into the program.

A $500 enrollment fee is due per student at the time of acceptance. This fee covers the materials, curriculum, and classroom needs for each child and is non-refundable once you are accepted into the school.

Students who have not had any Montessori education and will be going into 1st grade or higher when they enter the school will need to come to 2 weeks of summer learning during any of the weeks that work for them. The reason for this is that the Montessori method is a unique one where students learn independence, responsibility in ways that traditional schools do not allow. We want students to begin the year feeling comfortable and successful and able to leap right into learning. We have 11 summer weeks available for learning. The summer application is available here and may be signed up for now to reserve your spot. For families that would struggle with affording summer classes scholarships may be available.

Is there a deadline for application?
For the 2025-2026 year enrollment begins January 1st of 2025. Our school has a capacity of 84 students total for the 2025 year and with parents knowing that tuition will not go up as others schools are doing but will be covered by the ESA as soon as possible we anticipate the school filling up with families knowing TCWA is the place for them and wanting to claim their spot.

-
How could we be at the top of the list for enrollment?
If you currently have a child ages 2-6, they could join Acapella Montessori, our current preschool. All of our students currently enrolled in the preschool by January 1st 2025 will have first priority.

-
Talk about your teachers; who are they, and are they credentialed?
All of our teachers have their 4 year teaching degree and are in the process of or already have their MACTE certified Montessori training. Paraprofessionals in our school must have their teaching degree or at least an Associates degree in education and will also have short term Montessori training throughout the year.
